Slim Black Selvedge

This Black Selvedge comes from Candiani Mills in Italy, woven at 12.5oz from 100% cotton. At first wear, it’s a touch stiff—honest, structured—but it relaxes quickly and settles into something deeply personal. What drew us to this cloth is the yarn itself: a subtle slub that brings unexpected texture and life to a black denim. It’s quiet, but it’s there—and over time, it reveals itself in the way good denim should.

The Slim Fit keeps things clean through the seat and thigh with a straight, tailored leg below the knee. It’s sharp without feeling forced, modern without being fragile. Because this fabric sews up a bit tight, we recommend sizing up one if you find yourself between sizes. Once broken in, it rewards you with comfort, structure, and character that only improves with wear.

Care:
Turn jeans inside-out and hand or machine wash with cold water and gentle detergent. Hang or flat dry. Do not machine dry.

Sizing:
These jeans run a bit snug, we recommend to size up if you're in between sizes. This Black Selvedge jean will stretch 1/2" - 3/4" in the waist with wear.
